Guidelines
PURPOSE
The Irons Jr. High Cheerleaders purpose is to promote and uphold loyal school spirit throughout the year. We encourage good sportsmanship among the students. We improve relationships between schools during athletic events. We represent the school and the district as a positive role model and leader.

2026-2027 Tryout Important Dates
The tryout candidate must be present with a parent/guardian at the tryout meeting in order to receive an application to tryout. Any candidate that does not turn in an application on time will not be allowed to attend the tryout clinic or tryout.
MANDATORY Tryout Meeting:

February 12th at 6:30 in the Irons LGI Room
Application Due:

February 20th to Irons Front Office by 4pm
Tryout Clinic:

March 2nd-4th from 5-7 in Irons Girls Gym
Tryouts:

March 5th from 5-8:30 in the Irons Girls Gym
